How to use the 45 minute timer
- Press Start (or the space bar). The timer is already set to 45 minutes.
- Press Full screen to show it on a projector, smartboard or TV.
- When time is up it beeps three times and the screen flashes. Press Reset to run it again.
What 45 minutes is good for
Forty-five minutes is a standard school lesson in many countries and a common exam section length. It is also a good deep-work block before a break.

Can I see the time left from across the room?
On full screen the numbers fill the display, and the ring turns amber at a quarter left and red in the last tenth.
Will it beep loudly?
It plays three short beeps through the device's speakers at their current volume, and flashes the screen.
