How to use the 1 hour timer
- Press Start (or the space bar). The timer is already set to one hour.
- Press Full screen to show it on a projector, smartboard or TV.
- When time is up it beeps three times and the screen flashes. Press Reset to run it again.
What one hour is good for
An hour is the standard length of many exams, meetings and recipes. Seeing the ring empty makes a long hour easier to pace.

Yes, type any number of minutes in 'Set your own', up to 24 hours.
What if I close the tab?
The countdown stops when the page closes. Leave the tab open (it can be in the background) and it will beep at the end.
